Who can do a little job for me ?

Hi folks,

I wonder if anyone in the US can do a little job for me. I will pay for it.

The thing I need is someone who has a little piece of flat sheetmetal and hopefully some leftover Massey Ferguson paint, number 830719 M2
This is Metallic Flint Grey.

I am unable to find this paint in Norway, and want a sample of it so I can go in the stores to see if I can find a match.

It is so expensive to get one box sent from the US, it is dangerous, flammable, and who knows what else is wrong. So, that is why I want a piece of sheetmetal painted, dried, and sent in an envelope.

And, please contact me off the forum if you like,
billbrox@online.no

Best regards, Bill Brox

Hi Bill,
Think I might be able to help you here. My Bepco parts book shows a reference for Flint Grey and Flint Grey Metallic. The flint grey in 1 litre (3405511M5) Bepco 30/3102-242 and 5 litre 30/3102-243
The flint grey metallic 1 litre (3620509M5) Bepco
30/3102-233 and 5 litre (3405510M3) Bepco 30/3102-234.
The nearest contact number that I have for you is
Tracpieces Netherlands, Tel: +(31)413293975
Fax:+(31)413294087 or Bepco UK +(44)154423144 Fax:
+(44)1544231484
Alternately do a web search for Tracpieces in
Norway.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Howdy David.

The problem is to have paint sent, the freight prices are so high. Paint go as hazardous goods, and the start price for freight is about £ 200. So, it is no idea to do that.

I can get paint from Sparex as I am a dealer, but I deal in so small quantities that it is no idea to do it.

Hi Bill,
I will speak with Bepco UK on Monday and see if they can supply you with a small quantity unless they have any other ideas.

Thanks David,

But I have asked Bepco about selling their parts, long ago. No chance. They have dealers in Norway, and they will sell me parts to the same price as anyone else can pay for them. No idea doing business that way.

But anyway, it is not the quantity that is the problem. It is the freight prices for hazardous goods that is too high for small quantities.

I will get a sample of the paint so I can go locally to find the paint.

Hi Bill,
Certainly in the UK Bepco is a trade supplier only so the only other people in Norway selling Bepco should be Trade only. If you would like me to contact Bepco Uk please let me know.
Regards
David

David, I have been in contact with them already. The answer for buying parts from them was no. The dealer in Norway has an exclusive right to buy parts from them. Monopoly....

No not at all... plastic is fine. As long as the color is right, I don't care what the material is... :-)
