Hello All. I have wanted to try this for a while. Now I have done it, I am not totally sure that I like it. I can take 'em off at any time. They are stainless steel. What do you think?

They look like they should have been original equipment! That's a great looking 65 you have there.

Hi Aaron:

This is what I was talking about in my earlier message. Like I mentioned before, my MF35 has only one. I ordered some from my local dealer and I don't like them. I really like what you have, because it looks exactly like the one that's on my 35. Where did you get them and will you send me the information. Maybe if you painted them it would look more original. I really like them!!

I got 'em off of ebay. Sellers name was truxmart out in Colorado. Email is truxmart@peoplepc.com ask for Alice. These were apparently for a Peterbuilt 359. Fit a Massey quite nicely. I thought we had 6 inch headlights, but these are listed as 5 3/4.

Now that I think about it, I bet alot of truck stops/accessory centers carry these....

Thanks Aaron. I'll check our local truck stop and also our local Peter-belt dealer. If not, I'll go to e-bay.

Frankly I like the visors . . . sort of reminds me of nicely groomed eyelashes on a beautiful lady.

Aaron, they look pretty sharp! I personally would use them if I had another "accent" piece on the tractor that is also the same type of shiny stainless such as a cap or cover, etc. Just my 2 sense.

The non-visored look more original if that"s a factor. That"s a slick lookin" machine you have there, Aaron!

You are right, they do look a little out of place. Perhaps they will go better when I get the jet and the MF emblem done... On the originality thought, look a little lower in the pic and you will see a quite modern Mitsubishi alternator painted up to look original. The alternator adapter (3/8 schedule 80 stainless tubing and 5/16 all-thread) have yet to be painted. I have all the pieces necessary to go back to original, if I need to.

Thinking about having the jet chromed when I have the emblem redone.
