About six weeks ago I bought a MF150 /w multipower. It was running but had serious front end issues. All fixed and good to go, I took her on maiden voyage today.

I found a hole under transmission about level with drain plug on very bottom that is leaking.
This is well behind weep hole with cotter pin in it. It looks like it may have been welded and ground smooth, or maybe a casting mark.

Is this thing suppost to be there?

yes their are two weep holes in the casting . if yours leaks it trans fluid and will require the split and shaft seal to stop it .

Thanks for the reply. After pulling the clutch inspec. plate, it seems the forward hole is for oil from crank seal, and the rear for tranny fluid.

Is this an inherent problem, and do the the non-multipowers have it?

P.S. I to am from the Lonestar state!
