Hi any of you massey enthusiasts out there know if a massey harris 30 will pull a 2bottom plow handily?I have a hunch it would ,but just thought id throw that question out there Thanks

I agree with the other posts.

On the subject of plows, I purchased a Ferguson 2 Bottom for my MH30. The ends of my
lift arms have a range of 6 in to 30 inches.

The ferguson from share to side links is
24 inches, OK for working depth only. So now I have to make a welding modification to the plow to have my arms come down lower on maximum up. You need a lot of "max up" to have the plow clear the sod and other obstructions when raised.

The other alternative is to get another plow
lower to the ground and sell the one I've got.
The ferguson dynamics were excellent back then I've heard.

The #30 was rated as a 2-3 plow tractor. Meaning it could pull a 2 bottom plow in the field and had the power to pull a 3 furrow plow when using the belt pulley.
