I would like to run a log splitter with two-way ram on the 3PL of my MF40 loader/backhoe (backhoe removed). Can I tap into the loader control bank? If so, which ports? Or should I run it off the tractor"s internal hydraulics via an isolator valve on top of the axle casing? Thanks

The loader pump will be much faster. You'll probably need to talk to a good hydraulic shop on the best way to hook it up. If the lines going to the backhoe are there, you could probably tap into them fairly easily with a control valve. Dave
