I have a mf 65 nose broke off starter,fell behind clutch and flywheel,is it worth fixing or part it out..I guess the motor has to come out it will not fall down to the inspection cover!!!! it gas

You should be able to take the plate off the bottom of the bell housing and get that piece out.

Over the years we've never had to split a 65 to
dig out the nose part. We could dig it out thru
the bottom, the starter hole, or leave it inside
for extra weight. Chuck

Just throw another starter on it, if it runs ok, go for it.

I like old iron, if I owned it I would try to fix it, but then I am not the one to ask, because I do not believe you can have enough old tractors.

It is odd that you say this cause when I split mine for the rebuild, there was an extra starter nose cone laying down there.

How much are you looking to get out of it?

I bought mine for 700 and now have from 5-7K in it.

It is what you make it...
