I just purchased a '75 mf135 4 cyl gas, with the mf35 loader. I'm looking for the emblem that goes on the front grill. also any hint or kinks anyone may be able to supply. This is my first tractor and I'm hoping I made a good choice. I followed Big Dean's recommendations for checking it out aand it appears sound. The only thing I don't care for is the trip style bucket, but I'm going to get a cylinder added for that soon.

Tractor implement service (1-800-545-9967) will probably have the emblem. They part out lots of Massey's. Those old mechanical trip loaders are a nightmare, I'd do something with it too! David

Our 135 tends to sputter after running a brush chopper for 4 hours because the exhaust manifold kicks out above the carb. and the exhaust pipe runs by it. Massey put a heat shield around the carb. but it eventually heats up especially on warm days and that starts causing the gas to vaporize choking out the tractor. So if you are using your tractor any amount and this happens just shut it off for a few minutes and give it a chance to cool down and then restart to leave the field. Other than that it is a great tractor.
