I have to change my top radiator hose on the Pony and wondered if I have to drain the antifreeze to do this? When it is not running does coolant drain completley back into the engine or does some stay in the hose?

You'll have to drain it. The whole system would be pretty much full when operating. The little Pony lacks a water pump (but that's neither here nor there). Drain it out, some can stay in the block and even the lower part of the rad. You just have to drain enough out so the level in the system is below the level of the lowest part of the top rad hose.

You will have to drain at least some of your antifreeze to change the top rad hose. If you haven't flushed your system and changed your coolant lately, now would be a good time. Good luck.
