MF 35 with 12 volt generator and Delco Remey voltage regulator. The voltage regulator has four wires, three on the right side and one underneath.

I have been chasing a charging problem for weeks. Could some one look at their VR and verify the connections.

My VR is connected as follows:
Field - top Battery - center
Lights - bottom

Armature - underneath

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I found, looked at and printed the wiring diagram several weeks ago. The tractor appears to be wired correctly except the ampmeter is not in use.

I am not sure the VR connections are correct especially the B and L terminals. I have had the generator and regulator off more times than I care to admit. The terminals have always been connected as I found them but I now wonder if they were correct to begin with. F and G are not in question. Everything appears OK but the system is not charging and I am trying to find the detail that has been overlooked.

Which terminal on your 35 does the does the B or battery terminal connect? Is it at the bottom right of the VR or the center right?
