Hi, I have started to restore my old girl, and have been looking for parts.
My Ferguson is 12V with Lucas distributor. The tractor runs fine but I would like to help it out as much as I can. Is this tractor with the
Standard engine rare? I seem to find only Continental parts on the net.
Are any parts swappable(Muffler/Carb/WaterPump/Delco Distributor) between Continental and Standard?

Is there a good source of TEA20 parts out there?

Thanks ---> Greg

Greg,

I also have a Standard TEA also a Standartd Diesel 35. I don't think they're that rare, but parts sure seem to be. I don't think any parts are interchangeable. I have a TO-20 and can see than none of the parts you mentioned are. I go back to the MF dealer for most of my parts. there are a few that I can get from other sources. Main tractor parts especially. Check Central Tractor for the parts you can get at most places. Also, at this site look for "JACK in NB". he can get parts.

Have fun, Rob

Hi,

There are a lot more Standard engines than Continental engines in Ferguson tractors. But, all TO 20 that was produced in the US had the Continental engine. Only a few Continental compared to Standard in Europe.

You can even get parts from England, and here in Norway we get parts easily. And the best of all they are pretty cheap too.

MF dealers seems to have a hard time finding carb. and ignition parts for the Lucas systems used in Standard engines.
But they are easy to find from other places.
