Have been helping a friend with a massey ferguson 165 that appears to be a european or canadian model as wiring is different from tech. manual and appears to have had front fenders and directional lights at one time. Does any one know where I can get info on this tractor. Thanks Charlie

wasn't a air field tractor or public works tractor or some thing (need for the front fenders and indicators)

is it the perkins 203 or 212 motor? (early or late)

More info on Massey 165
Has Perkins AD4-203 engine but local MF dealer did not have a listing for the oil filter that is used on engine also has one fuel filter ( not the two in the US version )has generator, remember looking at starter and was not a delco, also has fuses like the old VW ( pointed on the ends ) Gauges appear to be German in manufacture.
Has a wire running from a solinoid on injection pump to a switch on left side of transmission. Also has a netural start switch.
Has a swinging lock or what looks like one that is attached in front of brake pedals and lays on top of both pedals (is quite large, aprox. 2 ft. in length) The only serial number I can find is stamped into right side of clutch housing (15.8-8SWC104050)
TKANKS Charlie
