Well Chuck I can answer a few of your questions. The MF20 gas version, is a perkins 3 cyl, 152 cubic inches and was rated at 40hp according to my service manual. The MF20 is an industrial model and was usual equiped with a MF32 loader and a MF42,54 and 54S backhoe. There is a turf model of the MF20 and this can be identified by the adjustable front axle. The original paint on these units was yellow. I can not help you with the year. Have not found a site where informaion on serial numbers and years was available for the MF20. If I can be of further assistance, send me a e-mail. Good luck.

I also have an MF20D, the turf version. I actually just fired it up today for the fist time. I would very much like to find a loader for it, and have had a tough time finding any info on this machine outside of limilarities to the 135, and perhaps a 240 (industrial).

The MF 20 was the industrial version of the MF135. The basic differences being, heavier front axle annd possibly the shuttle transmission
