any and all info about this tractor would greatly be appreciated. my father just brought home my grand fathers and plans on restoring and using it on a saw mill he is restoring. needs brakes, how hard are they to deal with? also what could be done engine wise to get more h.p. out of it? anything? it starts and runs fine but we are not adverse to the idea of going thru the engine totally to make it like new but if we are going to do that it would nice to tweek up th h.p. a bit since it will be running the mill. what is a good on line dealership to get parts thru? help help help

Having worked at a circular sawmill powered by a MM Z (206 engine) I would have to say that they are about the minimum Hp. (30-31?) you can put on a sawmill and do any real work. Even then its kinda slow.
I would think an R with 4-7 less HP probably wouldn't do too well.
That said, a 206 engine can be fit into an R using the r's flywheel.
Also, for lower HP requirements of the mill, The fewer teeth on the saw the better.
