According to some articles the GTC was a G engine 403-4 with U parts in it to make a 340-4. Does any one know what parts were used? Also the bore and stroke of the 340-4, 283-4, 403-4 so I can compare them.

Freddy,
I don't have a parts manual on the GTC but I did a little math. A 4-1/4" bore and 6" stroke in a 4 cyl equals approx 340 cubic inches. This is a U bore with a G stroke. A 283 U motor is 4-1/4" x 5" and a 403 G motor is 4-5/8" x 6". I hope this is what you were looking for.

Brian
