I am just getting started on a 1962 Jetstar serial number 25800640 that I inherited. The tractor is in fair condition. I am seeking advise/information on parts and services. I need an exhaust manifold(badly broken), exhaust, carb rebuild and some sheet metal (hood side panel) or recommendations for excellent repair shop. I intend to use the tractor. I does not need a full restoration but does need a thorough going over.Tractor is in Wisconsin near the Twin Cities. Suggestions/ Helpful advise welcome Thanks, Mark

Cool! Jet Star II! If you paint this machine, do it right. I have not seen one Jet Star II with correct paint and decals yet. I have one and also a 1960 Jet Star.

Thanks for the feedback. I am particular and when I do the project I will do it right (meaning I usually spend too much time and money-but that's the way I am). The tractor has it's original paint and decals (faded and rusted) so matching shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you have any pictures send them along. My Jetstar has the dark brown drive train paint and the prairie gold ? sheet metal. I think it will be stunning when redone.
Regards

By the serial#, you have a 63 Jetstar 2, might make a difference in parts. John
