I dont know what all you guys think about this but i use Masey Furguson Red on all my red parts on my U's. I've did 5 molines wiht this and i belive its the reddest red you will be able to find.

I used Case/IH red (rouge) on my 335 wheels, I liked it. Who cares if it's exact match? Looked plenty RED to me, and wasn't that expensive. The primer they have is great too, dries fast and smooth. They use Xylol for thinner. I'm now using their Industrial yellow on my later Jet Star 3 and it looks real close to orig.

Ask your paint man if he can mix cherry red for a 1929 Chevrolet. Several years ago I had a gallon of MM cherry red mixed at NAPA (Martin Senour Paint) The NAPA guy was looking in his book and commented that the same formula for MM cherry red also matched 1929 Chevrolet red.
Good luck,
JM

Go with John's idea first I work for Sherwin Williams and they own Martin Senour Paint. If not you can use a Massey Harris red it is darn close too.

One more thing. Be prepared for sticker shock when you buy red paint from an automotive supply. It is worth it for the quality though. JM

Car Quest has problems matching most anything. Stick with NAPA paint and the rest.

Give the John Deere red a try. The sticker shock won't bite you either. I used it on a ZTS restoration and didn't look too different than the parts store mix I used on a UB, A LOT cheaper too.
