I am looking at one for pulling what do you think. I do not much about MM also what year did they start building the GVI,is tha factory weight really 7650 lbs.Thanks for all your help...

Just got one for myself plan on pulling it Lto.Shiping wt. was 7835 for die. lp would be lighter.Built from 59 to 62. Had a425 cid engine in lp &diesel rated at 78 pto hp.But mine has a 504 cid lp.Plan to take it down to 6500lb.and put a 6inch 605 crank in it with the 4 5/8 bore m5 blocks which are on it now ie.504.But down the road it will have a 800in it.Light tractors with big motors.Go for it.

I HAVE A FRESH OVERHAULED 800 @ .030 OVER 10.4 TO 1 COMPRESSION RATIO. OUR CLUB RULES SAYS NO 800'S. IT WILL BE FOR SALE IF YOU ARE INTRESTED.

Ethan, I got a few tips on how to lighten her up, but to give up the weight you also have to give up the $$$$. I'm excited to give this thing a hook this year, but it still looks aufully heavy on the nose. I'm surprized that he admitted knowing me, I have drifted away from the my origanal color. I guess thats the good thing about real tractor friends.
