I have a MM ZTU with a model TB carburator on it, and I would like to know where I can have it rebuilt or find one that is already rebulit.

Jason, my question is what is a model TB carburetor? Early ZT's used a Schebler Model TRX-12 carb and later ones use a Marvel Schebler Model TSX-97.

Correction, The carburator on my tractor is a model TR. there are no other letters or numbers, but it is made to bolt on to the air intake and to the intake manifold. Is this a TRX-12 or has someone put a different carb on it?

Jason,

Are you reading on the side of the carb where Schebler Model TR is CAST in? If so, look on the other side and see if you find a small brass tag. It should have TRX - 12 stamped in. Hope this helps.

Get a hold of Matt @ Motec Eng. Here is his e-mail. MotecEngr@aol.com He does good work and is very reasonable on price. If I was rating Denny's and Motec on a 1 to 10 basis, it would be like this.

Denny's - 3
Motec + 9

Nuff said.----deadeye
