I'm new to MM's and I would like to know what was the largest standard tread tractor MM made in the 50's? From what I can tell it looks like a "G". What were the engine/fuel options? I would like to have a collection of the largest standard tread tractors from Farmall, MM, John deere from the 50's. I already have a JD 830 rice special. Are there any good websites with more info on these tractors (pictures too)? Thanks for the help.

The largest MM of the 50s was the 1959 GVI with
the diesel engine. Weighed in at 7835#. It was the model that replaced the GB series, so the specs. are pretty much the same. Motor was a 426
that produced 78 PTO hp, pushed by a 5 spd with
a hand clutch. Made from 1959-62. Many were sold
running on LPG but they were about 200# lighter.
