I have a MM with a Lull loader and backhoe.Am looking to restore it, but am having difficulty finding the year. I believe it's to be an RTI. I would like literature on both the backhoe and tractor. All I have is the engine and shovel loader serial numbers. The plate on the transmission is gone. Would appreciate any information I could get.

If you have the engine serial number, you have all you need! Please post it here, and I can tell you what year your tractor is. Also, I can probably confirm that it is an RTI if you give more descriptive information about it or (if possible) you send me a photo of it via personal e-mail.

R's are my specialty, though I know quite a bit about other M-Ms.

If memory serves me correctly, the RTI was the only R fitted with a Lull Shoveloader (at least that I've seen or heard of), and it was a Model 4A loader. Haven't seen an R with a backhoe yet, though.

Hope this helps, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Respectfully,

Ken,

Your MM RTI had a Moline model EE four cylinder 3 5/8" x 4" 165 cu in engine rated at 27 hp at 1500 rpm. It was not tested at Nebraska as it was an industrial tractor. It was standard with 12-24 rear tires and 7.50-16 front tires. 14-24 tires were optional. Speeds with standard tires were; 2.2, 3.2, 4.1, and 11.5 mph. With optional 14-24 tires; 2.4, 3.5, 4.5, and 12.6 mph. Shipping weight was 3650 pounds. Demensions; wheelbase 66 1/2", height 63 1/2", width min 58 7/8" max 87 1/8", rear tread min 48" max 71 1/4", turning radius 12". Sorry but I can't find any information on your Lull backhoe loader.

I curious, is this an R tractor with an I beam fixed frontend, a front loader, and a back hoe on the rear. I've seen references to these, but don't have anything with pictures and have not seen one. If that is what it is, could a similar machine be constructed from, say a G-VI or a GB or such?
