I acquired an Char-Lynn add-on hydraulic kit and would like some information on it. The only other one of these I have seen was on a ZB of my grandfather's years ago. Basically, its a thin (3"), square reservoir that mounts on the the tractor towards the rear (left or right) of the engine. The brackets seem to be specially made for a Moline. On the bottom of the reservoir is a round (7" diameter) filter, Model #240, that splits in half with a filter screen inside. The valve itself is a single handle valve with 3/4" supply and return size and 1/2" size going to the couplers themselves. The number stamped in the valve is V2060 BFA2000. The mounting brackets for that are specific to a Moline using the 3 bolts on the deck plate that form the triangle, although probably the same valve is used just different brackets for different makes. I would like to get a seal kit for the valve itself although it doesn't show that much leakage at all, just typical of hydraulics. The entire system is in very good condition and was used with the 10A9247 Moline hydraulic pump, which is good as well. Likewise, I need to get some information on that pump as well. Any help would be appreciated in this venture. Thanks for your time.

Aaron,
I've got a Char-Lynn system on my UTS. Mine doesn't have that filter that you are talking about. It's got the tall resevoir with homeade iron brackets bolted onto the left side of the T/A housing and a Minneapolis 2 way control valve assembly bolted on with a piece of iron to the steering shaft support. If you want I could send some pictures your way through email. Just let me know if I can help. I'd be glad to! ;)
