I have a new to me 670 Super. It has plain steel heads on it now, supposed to be off a 602 or maybe an M-5. Orig square port heads went to puller. It runs and all, but now been setting in garage awhile, I see wetness around the front head's exhaust ports. It's just enough to form a drop to hang off it. Looks green like anti-freeze! It steams awhile when first started, doesn't stay that way. SO, do I have a cracked head? or can bad or OLD gasket that wasn't changed be problem? Looking at exhaust gaskets, I don't think the fellow bought new ones to reassemble. Who knows what I have. Kinda a let down after having to fix hydraulics, and now gotta do brakes as they leak oil there and maybe more. Money Pit, comes to mind!

GL,it sounds like it could be a crack around or under the exhaust valve seat. I don't think it's a head gasket as the point where you see it forming is above the gasket. the other posibility is that it's leaking around the return tube that connectes the heads on top and drizzling down the head and drips off by the exhaust port.
