Have a couple questions, first does the zb have potential to be a competitive puller? And what weight would it be in a stock situation. The old girl was put in the shed tired when the livestock were sold twenty years ago. I reckon it will be a handful to get her back in shape again. The kids are gone so its time to give it a try. Thanks

They are good stock pullers. If you take the cultivator lift off they will make 4,000 lbs (depending on driver size). They lug very well. They do come up short on power above 5000 lb on a hard track.

We have a '37 JTU with a 206 bored to 3 3/4", has cast wheels, 2 sets rear weights, 2 100# weights out front, power lift, it's competitive in the '39 & older 5500# class. Yours should do well in a 4000 or 4500# class. I think you will have to remove the whole power unit from the rearend to get down to that weight. Good luck!!

John G..... I have a '37 JTU, s/n 555032, and it needs a lot of work! It's loose and rolls freely, but there's a lot of rust. I put new rubber on and now need directions! Do you have any manuals or guides that I can start with? She looks good sitting here, but I want to get her up and going. Thanks for your time.
