I am just getting interested in Minneapolis tractors but don't know much about them, there is an auction coming up listed as a model "G", is this listed correctly I cannot seem to find any info on this, I would appreciate any feedback on this I have seen "G" models listed with other letters behind it, I would appreciate any feedback as to which "G" model is the hardest to find and what I should pay for it. The tractor listded on the auction has been shedded and looks to be quite nice. Can you help? Thx a lot Wayne.

I love my 1950 GTB so much 8 years ago this month we had our wedding photos taken on it. Trever is right about the models and GB D's came in two models "D" diesels where four and six cylinders.

Hi,

For what it's worth - I picked up nice running MM G on propane a couple of months ago for $450. It needs a front tire, but other than that is just a good old tractor!

If I was to pick a G I would pick a GTA due to the looks. Their would be a GT/GTS, GTI, GTA-I, GTB, GTC, GB-D, and a GTX as far as I know. Then they go up to the larger, newer models. The most common rarer one would be a GB-D. The rarest one would be a GTA-I followed by a GTI, then a GTX, then back to the GB-D, and up. As far as price, it really depends. You probably knew that I would say that but it's really true. Maybe someone else can give you a better range as far as price is concerned.

Good Luck,
Trever

By the way, are you possibly related to Les Wenzel?
