Just finish painting my ztu, and now for the decals. Is Maple-Hunter the best place to find decals, Or is there another place? Does the ztu come with the kit, or does it just say Z on the front grill side?

I restored a '47 ZTU and, I may be wrong, but they had the same decals. There were (2) places for decals. One, at the front of the gas tank. The other is on the back of the fenders. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. I looked at a lot of pictures from that period of time & that is all I have found. The Z decal was used starting on ZA's.

Here's another source for MM decals. I cannot
say if they are better or not, but I have been
very happy with my purchases.

R-M also published a guide, just a couple of pages, on the correct decal for the year/model of your tractor. It was in the quarterly MM Corresponder a couple of years ago. John

Over the past 10 years I have purchased several sets of Maple-Hunter decals and been well satisfied. I really liked that the "pto warning" and the "Starting caution" decal were included. They weren't in the set I bought on Ebay.

Some sets even had a decal for the air cleaner, but I don't know which air cleaners used the decal.

One thing: Your tractor doesn't use every decal in the kit.

I think Jeremy Fiorelli has the decal/year placement on his tractor pulling website. I know I've seen it on the internet somewhere.
