Justin, I've seen pumps that had brown centers-where the gears run-between yellow ends. I'm thinking you can probably find a bad pump that has a good end-one that can be made good with new needle bearings. You'll probably want to put new bearings and a seal in your front plate too.

I would suggest that you go to www.minneapolis-moline.com and start calling parts suppliers. Balcom knows these old tractors, Welter's gives good service, MM (Wendell Everett) knows MM and is great to work with if you can get ahold of him.

In MY honest opinion, these pumps did the job they were designed for-lift normal loads on the 3-pt and some had priority valves to run power steering. (Be sure to tell them if your tractor has power steering-the priority valve is in the back cover.)

I don't think they were ever meant to or should be expected to run a loader-not enough CFM delivery, for one thing.

Justin, Good Luck! I had a 335 with same pump once. You can still get those bearings if that's what you need. This pump was made by an electrical part factory in Milwaukee. They are long gone and no new parts for them. I put new bearings in mine and had the surfaces re-polished, as they have no gaskets between them. I was told the bearing alignment might improve pressure 10% or better. It didn't. I sold tractor before finishing the hydraulics. I was gonna try to plumb in a Pto slip over pump to run my loader. Problem there is the oil goes thru the gear case to the pump. The later versions have seperate lines to pump in and out and don't use those passageways in case. Not sure how one would deal with that. M-5's used this pump also.

That's it! Webster Electric Co. or something like that. In Milwaukee. I talked to people who remembered it, thought someone bought them out, didn't know new name, thought they went out later anyway. Seems the 60's they were gone. MM went to Vickers on most of newer models.
