Woah, check this one out in the photo ads. I didnt realise that MM made a tractor with the front 4x4 axle like that. It looks just like the front axle on my 2150 Oliver, it has to be a clark front axle. I would love to have that one to add to my fleet, but $20G is just a little more than I want to put into it. Plus that one outta be fixed up and put into a show, it has to be rare.

What do you guys think?????

Oh ... I thought you were one in the same with sweetcorn and MM/Oliver tractors. To the other response...I am in Fountain county Indiana.

Hey Shep.....how is the 1355 working out?

Oh it has been doing real well. I have been discing all spring with it and man what a horse!!! I really like driving it, you sit up so high and it rides across the field so nice, it is a great open field tractor. I told dad if I had gotten the G-1355 first I may have more Molines and less Olivers now. The engine has a few small issues going on and I will have to rebuild her in a few years but it will probably run a long time like it is. I put 40 or so hours on it and only used one quart of oil, so I didnt think that was bad.
I am wanting to put the duels back on for the fall and put it to the field cultivator and run it behind the 2150 Oliver and the ripper. That should make the big MM grunt a little more.

Good talking with you

I saw that ad too, Shep. Seems pretty pricey to me...but I am just a working stiff. To a collector with money this tractor would be a nice addition. I will be buying that one after I win the Powerball.

p.s.

How did the sweetcorn season go for you? I am in WC Indiana and my corn is still only about 2 feet high yet.

What part? I am in Lebabnon. You can't be far away. Always nice to meet new MM people close to home.

Yeah, I like to look at them and put them to work on the farm, but I am not a fan of trailer queens around the farm, my tractors have to earn their keep. But that is still a neat looking MM.

You are thinking of Shep FL in florida, he is the sweet corn and bean man. I am north of him a bit here in the mountains of Virginia.

We got about 3/4 of our corn planted in the mud and more than half of is it coming up, but the rain is playing heck with the crops this year. Our field corn is about waist high in some places and the last we planted is only 6 inches so far, the cold and wet has been hard on it. I am trying to work ground and plant sudan grass and millit now but am not getting too far with the thunderstorms.

Going to try and get the combine out late this week and see if I can get it stuck in the barley fields, should be a real kodak moment.....
