I was told by one respondent to this forum that Hyatt 1212 was the number on a spare bearing he had for a model R tractor engine. The bearing distributor I use says that Hyatt hasn't made bearings in years and that the number isn't complete. The distributor says that they need to know if this is a roller or ball bearing; if it has a separable inner race or not; and if the inner race is "flush" or not. Has anyone bought a front crankshaft bearing recently and have a current bearing number?

The part # for your # 1 main is MA1212EL Bower Roller Brg. This came from my Federal Mogul Brg manual dated 1986. Hope this helps .Earl In Illinois

Agco sells EE360 for $85.00. If you don't have a Agco dealer close give me an email.

Dick,
I've got a couple out in the shop. I'll have to find them. I believe they were either Bower or BCA bearings. I think I paid about $45 a piece a couple years ago from a bearing distributor in Texas. I ordered 4 at a time because I've got that many R motors and then some to rebuild. I'll post the # when I find it.

Front bearing is available from Welters. I have also got them from a local bearing shop. They are not Hyatt. They are roller and the inner race is separable. They're expensive, about $70 as I recall.
