I am trying to see how many people are interested in reproduction MM front emblems, small Minneapolis Moline nameplates found below the MM emblem, and possibly even the larger Minneapolis Moline nameplates found on the side of Jet Star 3 Supers, 302 Supers, 670 Supers, G900's, and G1000's. I have been working with a company that can reproduce these things and have sent them a MM emblem to copy. If they can make an exact duplicate and do it affordable, I will have some made provided there is enough interest. The larger nameplates are something I have talked to them about, but I wanted to start with something small. If anyone has any input, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, A. Sellars in IL.

Check my Note below. Price makes the differnce for me. Repainting correctly is hardest part, and can't get right. Are the ones you mention gonna be painted too? I would think you would need an OK from AGCO to make those maybe?? I'ld hate to see you get in trouble and not be able to sell any after spending big money on them.

I finally heard from the Company that can reproduce the MM emblems today. It would cost me a one time fee to make a Embossed mold for $425. There also is a prep fee of $125. They would be made out of natural Aluminum, have the white painted background, and the MM letters would be black. They would have the natural color aluminum trim around the letters as well as the border itself. The price of making each emblem depends on how many I want to order. I think the price is of the mold is very high and really kind of shocked me. If there is enough interest, I might still try to do it. As far as the long nameplates, they are working on a quote for the embossed mold for them, but they told me it was going to be very high. And there are different size side nameplates so each size would be another charge. I am currently looking into the copyright issue and don't know exactly how or who to ask. Any comment, suggestions, questions, or anyone willing to help me with this, I would like to hear from you. Thanks, Andy

Andy: All 3 name plates would sell well I would think. If they do a good enough job that you can't tell it from NOS I think folks would buy them. I know I need both of the ones that go on the nose and both side ones for my JS 3 super. Another item that is 'gone' on some of these tractors is the lower rear side panels that hide the bottom of the fuel tank. They don't look that hard to reproduce.

Anything that can be reproduced at a reasonable cost for the Minnies is good. I would be interested in them making the stamped out emblem that is on the front of the constellation series. I have three five stars and a big mo right now. I have one that is out of poured metal, but the orignals where stamped out of metal. If you forward me your email I would like to keep in touch with you on this.

The emblems that I am currently working on having reproduced are for the later tractors such as the Jet 3 super, 302 super, 670 super, G900, and G1000's. They had aluminum stamped (embossed) emblems that were a MM on the front of the tractor above the grill as well as a small Minneapolis Moline just below the MM. I am also interested in the Large Minneapolis Moline nameplates that go on both sides of the tractor, although I'm afraid the cost will be too much.

I have a steel cover of some sort with the MM on it. Have no Idea what tractor it came off of but guess it to be a late thirtys to 40's tractor. I will email a pic to anyone interested.

Sheesh! Where YOU been hiding these?? What price? Can fella get two here also?? glperry@fwi.com or 260-358-8401 Huntington, IN I just tried repainting both on my Jet Star 3 and even tho it's better than the messed up strip that was on there, it's not quite right. These have aluminum showing all around edges, pretty hard to do that. I painted my MM"s black and hand filled the white around letters, and did opposite on the Minny-Mo name below it. Can't get the aluminum edge look.
