Al, just seen your post for the first time and thought I would respond. I also have a 1957 335 MM that the serial # is exactly 500 later than yours. Mine doesn't have P/steering and the torque amp is weak when its cold. Other than that it is very original with all the lights and guages and works well. I found a 445 owners manual and was able to copy it and also bought the IT MM-201. The 445 manual was very helpful and had alot of info (like everyday service items) that the IT didn't. So Kelvins advice was right on. I also have a 1962 Jetstar that works very well and is very original. I only wish parts were easier to come by.

Congratulations. You have a MM 335 Utility. It should have an adjustable front axle simliar to a Ford, with radius rods along the sides of the engine.

Does anyone know where a person could obtain a good service and repair manual for this tractor. Also, it appears this model has power steering--anyone have some knowledge of this.

Thanks for any info you are able to provide

I don't know of any 'good' service and repair manuals devoted specifically to the 335. For the service part, you could probably locate a reprint of the operator's manual, but I don't think I've ever seen a shop manual devoted specifically to the 335.
MM did print a shop service manual for the 445, the 335's big brother. Most of the service/fluids/overhaul/etc. would be the same. The final drives in the 445 transmission are different and the 445 engine has a longer stroke.
I'm getting by with an I&T manual myself.
I own a 1958 335 with power steering.

Oh, and it was made in 1957.
