Hi,

I am conducting a survey on the reliability of all M-M-produced tractors. The results of this survey will be published as a part of the new M-M book that I am writing. In order to make the survey a success, though, I need YOUR help. Any information you can contribute to the survey will be greatly appreciated.

To find out how you can help, please visit the below link. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you all in the near future.

Respectfully,

Brian Rukes

OUR FIRST TRACTOR WAS A "BF" MODEL.IT WAS HARD TO START,EVEN AFTER A TUNE-UP.USUALLY HAD TO PULL IT. WHEN IT GOT HOT WHILE USING IT,AND YOU KILLED THE ENGINE,IT WOULD HAVE TO BE JUMP-STARTED ON TWELVE VOLTS. THE PLOWS WERE A 4#@%$# TO HOOK UP.(2-16").WE HAD THE STARTER,CARB,DISTRIBUTER REBUILT AND IT WAS STILL HARD TO START. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS TRACTOR WAS THE SWEET SOUND OF THE GOVERNOR OPERATING WITH A LOAD.

Brian Thanks for your help on my MM R with cab. I haven't really used it enough to rate it. As a yong man I used a UB an M5 on a large crop farm in ILL. so I can rate them. The UB I would give a 4 star rating an the M5 a 3 star rating. I would be interrested in your book when you are done. Anything else I can help you with let me know. Doug
