It's just slightly stuck. After three years of soaking in various penetrating concoctions the #3 and #4 holes will go dry after a few weeks. Nothing gets past the #1 and #2.

This engine has the high altitude pop-up pistons which I'm going to try to salvage. I think a few heat/cool cycles will be helpful to loosen em up. After that's done I'll use a band saw to cut off the top of the blocks then try the pistons in a big press.

Nothing to lose but some time right?

Tell me about the compression height.

If the wristpin location is the same for the EE series piston as it is for the 206B-4 series it seems there would be some compression to be gained by using EE pistons in a 206B-4.

Obviously this project is in the early stages. I'm gathering info and kicking around lots of different ideas and options, and I definitely appreciate the info that's coming in.

Augie,
I belive the piston pin height is different between the EE and 206 since the strokes are different 4" vs. 5". Compression is changed on these engines by installing different heads.
