Gentlemen, I am seaching for my next project and was wanting to know if it is possible to put power steering (Char Lynn or Behlen) on an RTI. Has anyone tried it? Has it been successful? Does the tractor turn easy enough not to worry about it? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You might check with Roland Jackson at (www.jacksonpowersteering.com) He custom makes power steering for tractors and equipment. I have one of his steering units on my Ford and am really happy with it.

Aaron,
If you've got any kind of front loader on it then it definitely doesn't turn "easy". Power steering would be a big plus. Unfortunately, I've never seen an RTI with power steering added but someone out there must have done it.

I have seen one where he put GVI power steering on his RTI. If you are planning on a loader PS is a great idea, armstrong steering wears out fast. Mike

I have a power steering front end for an RTI--I just have not put it on yet--It is the complete front end for an RTI--as far as using the front end that you already have,I am not sure.

Would you have any pictures of that frontend? Would be interested in seeing what that looks like. Thanks, John
