The problem is the word "series"

Most gas had 4 cyl. 403 cu in 4-5/8 bore x 6" stroke there was probably at least 20 hp difference between the first 4 cyl. GT and the last 4 cyl. GB.

The GTC had a 4 cyl 336(?) engine, if I'm not mistaken, don't know bore and stroke.

The GB diesel had 6 cylinders, so it was different displacement, too. probably 425 cu. in.

this also doesn't take into account the later GVI, the G704,5,6,7,8, or the G1000 G900(?), G950, G1050, G1355. And maybe a few others I missed.

The GTC used a 340 engine. It had the tall blocks but the bore was smaller. 4.25x6 engine. We have one in our UB. The 340 was also used in a UMIL and a few UTIs but few people know that. I have never heard what correct h.p. for a 340 should be but ours pulls pretty well and sounds really neat. The 336 was the 5-star diesel or M5gas/diesel engine at 4.625x5 bore and stroke.
