I am looking at buying a 61 Jetstar and I would like to know what others have experienced in trying to get parts and manuals. The tractor will be used for day to day farm work in a hilly area of Georgia. Any comments on the Jetstar's performance would be appreciated.

Parts are quite available. Good sources are Lester Wenzel, 507-465-3334, Lynnie Balcom, 800-658-2309, and others who advertise in the two MM magazines.

I think the JetStars are good, honest machines. I have an original (brown) JetStar with 3-pt, and a 1962 Jet Star 2 with a loader. Both are in general use. The Jet Star is a real good baler tractor if you are pulling a baler that makes the small bales.

Good luck!

I have a 1962 jet star also with a front end loader. My question is do you know if M.M made their own front ends or who supplied them for them. Mine is red with yellow minneapolis moline decal down the side of it. It would be nice to know if it is factory or not as it would be good for collection purposes.
