I was woundering if any body knows any thing about minneapolis moline feed grinders because I just bought one for $25 at a auction and wanted to know how hard it is to find one

I would figure you have a MM hammermill, don't know of a burmill. Do you have pix of it or a description of it? Where are you located, I know of 5 in this area, Chi/Mil, like to talk to you about it. grandfieldfarm1@aol.com

I live in minnesota but I bought the bur mill at a auction in north dokata. I will get a pic of it and send it to you when I get a chance. Can you send me a pic of one of the ones that you know of. I also talked to a guy in minnesota that I know and he said mine is the second one that he has ever seen.

Its got a metal hopper with a flywheel and a belt pully on one side and one the other side there is a round gear box that has two plates inside of it and it has a opening on the bottom for the stuff to come out that you grind up it also has a old decal on the side of the hopper hope this helps you thanks

Must be pretty rare here in NC. I've got most of the implement parts books from an old dealer down and no burr-mill catalog.
