How do I find the cause for a cylinder with no compression? The valves are working and the piston looks good. Water leaked into the cylinder when I filled the radiator. What is the trouble shooting process to determine this leak. Thanks in advance.

I've got a fairly standard compressor and it has worked on everything but flatheads. You can get a loaner from most auto stores.

Examine the head gasket for failure between a water channel and the cylinder in question. If the gasket is good, take the head to a repair shop and have it pressure tested. The head could be cracked. Though valves may work up and down, they may not be seating resulting in no compression. Once you find your problem, get the valves ground before reassembly.

What type of valve sprint compressor do I use on the RTU? Thanks
