Tom, you didn't mention which model MM you're talking about. If it is like the model U, where the distributer is run off the accessory shaft, the casting that the distributer sits in has to removed with the distributer. The gear on the distributer shaft will prevent the distributer from being removed through the casting. If this doesn't solve your problem, e-mail me.
