I may not have the right place, but you may be able to point me in the right direction.
I am looking for information on the Minneapolis harvester, specifically the model that came out in the forties.
There was two of them sent to England, for the Barker Co, Kirbymooside Yorkshire, I think in 1944, I was involved in the assembling of the first one, I was seventeen at the time, later I operated the grain drier for the grain.
What I would like is a photo, ore picture of one, and specifications if possible. My name is, Robert M Johnson, ( Bob ) and I live in Perth Western Australia. Thanking you in anticipation.
Bob J.

Minneapolis-Moline Harvestors: Perhaps these models are a little later vintage than those you are seeking, but check out the b&w archival photos in the book "Minneapolis-Moline U-Series Photo Archive" edited by P.A. Letourneau, published by Iconografix, P.O. Box 18433, Mpls., MN 55418 USA 1993. This book shows the G4 Harvestor and the Model 69 Harvestor being pulled by M-M tractors. Costs about $30.

You can find some graphics and photos of the Harvestor combine c. 1934 in Alan King's Data Book No. 2 "Minneapolis-Moline 1910-1959". This is a superior and useful softcover data compilation book. Costs about $15. I am in the process of buying a Model 69 due to smaller size and weight relative to the G-4, for future restoration and show. Hope this helps.
