I have a "57" 335, the ampli-torque planitary system slips. I use synthetic gear lube so it isn't thick when it's cold (and I do let the tranny warm up before using the low range. I've made the adjustments in accordance with the operator manual (it has a good "snap" when going from high to low and low to high ranges). The only other thing that is stated in the manual is take it to my friendly MM dealer. hahaha :-(, I don't even have an AGCO dealer within 1100 miles. I suspected the clutch pack is worn out but the tabs in the inspection cover look good. I have not taken off the top of the transmission yet, I'll try to tomarrow. A parts supplier suggested new springs and rollers. Bottom line is does anyone have a "shop manual" for repairs of the ampli-torque? Or have any good suggestions. I know I can use it without the ampli-torque but it was an optional trasmission to the 335 that made it one BIG reason why I bought the tractor. I need it for a slow ground speed in reverse for a snow blower. I want fixed so I can use it, I live in Alaska and need a snow blower! Thanks in advance for any help :-)...Jim
