Hi folks, my wife and I are gonna be heading to Phoenix, Arizona the 2nd week of January for my work. We will have some dead time and I was wondering if there were any Moline collections or any Moline collectors in the Phoenix area we might be able to look at or get a chance to talk with. I am just trying to line up some good clean fun and entertainment for two 29yr olds. Thanks for your help. Aaron

Gentlemen, thank you very much for your replies. I am certainly gonna try to look some folks up while I am there. I know it is gonna be a very busy week, but maybe not too busy to see some prairie gold in the middle of sand country. Anyway, feel free to contact me at born2worship519@yahoo.com if you so choose. Thanks again. Aaron

I worked for a guy who's dad was BIG into Molines. His dad has passed on, and I don't know if the collection still exists. Go to the NAPA store in Glendale and ask for Mr. Hempleman. There's 2 of 'em there and they're both nice guys.

Peterman is a good choice and he can lead you to others. Don't overlook the auction on the 28th of January with 40 tractors and at least 14 MM. Two UTU's with serial #'s 0114901523 and 0114901524. The rest of the auction can be found at www.sierraauction.com. Enjoy your trip. I'm mostly John Deere. Lowell

Aaron,

Keith Peterman lives in a northern burb of Phoenix. He has a small but impressive collection of MM's. I don't know of too many people that have a 2star crawler, but Keith is the ONLY one that I know of with two of them. He is related tot eh Peterman's in PA with the impressive collection. I had the pleasure of visiting Keith several years ago, and he is a gracious host and very knowledgable of MM's. I don't know if he visits here, but I now that he makes it to Tony Turner's site. www.minneapolis-moline.com

Joe,

Thanks for the comments. Can I get you to write a few words for my boss to put in my annual review? I could use a good raise so I have a little extra money to work on these MMs. As I said on the other MM page, several more MMs have followed me home since your visit. You need to find an excuss to visit Phoenix again sometime and stop by. Hopefully, I will see you at one of the shows back east in '06.

Aaron (and anyone else headed to Phoenix) just drop me an e-mail when you are planning to head out this direction and I will do my best to work around your schedule so we can meet. I enjoy showing people the MMs that spent their working days here in the Southwest. I look forward to hearing from you.
