I bought a 1959 Gvi and don't understand the battery hook up. It is now hooked up as positive ground. Is this right or has something been hooked up wrong. What damage could this do to started.

The Gvi I bought cost 1850.00 and is bear back. It came out of colorado and has a hammer hitch. How hard is it to change the seals on the valves in the bottom of the tank. Is there any way other then draining the tank on a LP. My seals are leaking and there is about 20% in the tank.

I just picked up a MM GVI about 1 year ago. How many batteries does yours have? Are they hooked up in series? What did you pay for it or do you disclose that? Do you have any pitures that you can post or email me? Thanks John in Utah.

Most MM's back then where positive ground with generators. No damage will be done be starting the tractor. If you convert to an alternator, you will have to change to negative ground.
