How many GTC's were made during the early 50's?
This model is fueled by propane. What the approximate drawbar horsepower?

Thank you

Hi,

GTCs were in production from 1951 to 1953, and their serial numbers ranged from 04700001 to 04701101 in that time. So, around 1100 of them were probably built.

GTCs used a 340 cubic inch engine. They were similar in power to the diesel and gas 4-5 plow Gs of the time, which were producing around 55 to almost 60 brake horsepower and 40 to 45 drawbar horsepower at the time. Nebraska Tests were never admintistered on the GTC, but it is likely that they were slightly less powerful than their gas and diesel counterparts with larger engines.

I hope this helps. Take care, and have a good one!

Respectfully,
