Happy Day !!!!I"ve just purchased 48 RTI with a Lull loader. It does run and move, starts very hard and runs rough,I"m sure a tune-up will cure it.However my quistion is,is there a procedure to remove the complete loader assembly as a unit.I would like to clean and scrape to repaint.I believe this tractor will add diversity to my Case and Massey Harris tractors. I truely enjoy seeing this old machinery run in its original form and colors. I am sure I will be asking many more quistions as I get further into this project. Many thanks Al

I have UTIL with Lull and Case LAI with same loader both run and work but are ugly. I love them and have had the Case at our show and it sure gets attention. My UTIL had a cab but it was cut off at windows, wish I had one to put on. Would also like to have RTI with Lull to match. Someone on this board has reprints for Lull 6C loaders maybe someone has manual for yours if you ask. Enjoy that tractor.

I got one of those this summer. Sure are ugly big things, aren't they? Tractor is half sized w/out loader! I have hoist in garage, and pulled the big top pin out to release the bucket and arms as a set. Then pulled tractor aside and had my cherry picker hooked to the top tube over gas tank. Mine had brackets welded both front and rear of axles, so had to drop way down before pulling ahead or pushing back tractor. Only way to get down low enough was to remove gas tank to allow that cross bar to drop farther. Still was lots of messing around. I also had the big guard on front off. The cross brace part under nose can stay on, loader sides unbolt from it. There is also a cross-over brace under tractor by cyls that must come off. I also pulled my cyls and hoses running accross there. I've seen other Lulls with hoses accross top, much nicer. My fluid tank was above rad in guard, and I have seen those be on sides, also much handier. Draining and removing some hose ends will most likely be needed. Also the linkage from levers if at fender step. It's just a matter of lifting, moving, juggling things to clear to get it off. I know of another fella who took his off whole. His was just bolted to front of rear axle, didn't need to drop, just went up and drove tractor back out from it. I found mine welded to axles and brackets and had to grind many places to get it to release. Good luck, hope you have a blaster, there's lotsa iron there!
