I am looking for a 302 super diesel and would like to possibly trade my 302 super propane for such. I bought it from the original owner several years ago, it is a 1969 with flat top fenders. The only way that I would consider selling it is if I found a diesel version I could buy outright of equal or better value. Call 217-370-0420 or e-mail.

I think the U-302 LP's are just as hard to find as a diesel version, and finding any Moline in that size in excellent original condition is hard these days. Also the Diesels are a lot more expensive to work on. I would say the value is nearly equal between the two in equal condition.

I tend to agree with Bbob on this one. I have had several people tell me that they would prefer an LP version because of the longevity of the lp engines and the hard core lp-blooded MM guys just plain like them better the the diesel's. I also been told the MM had trouble balancing the smaller diesel engines and that the gas and lp versions run much smoother. My reasons are much simpler, all my other MM tractors are diesel and I prefer the slobbering greasey diesels.

Depends on what you consider equal value. There were very few super diesels made 190 and even fewer that still have the diesel engine in them. There were quite a few lps so a fairly rough but complete diesel is still worth more than an excellant condition lp or at least thats the way i see it.
