Your tractor should have the MM Praire Gold. MM had purchased BF Avery by 1953. Contact R-M Distributors 3693 M. Ave. Vail, IA. 51465 Phone 712/677-2491. I have a 1952 BF It is all MM colors. R-M has the decals.

I have a 1953 MM Model BFW. Is this the same as a BF Avery? I'm looking for the starter gearing for this tractor. Any help out there? Thanks

A freind of mine up here in Minnesota had the same situtation and after some research concluded that it was best to paint it Avery Red. He said that some Avery's were painted over with MM Prairie Gold when MM purchased Avery. Just passing on what I was told.
