What hyd oil is good to use in the hyd on a M670 Super? The oil that is in it looks to be like reg oil color ( not red ). Wondering if a person can add a little hy tran or some 10w non detergent just to run it until I know everything works then change the fluid and filter. ( tractor sat for 2 years in a shed ). Have a stuck front spindle--Any ideas on unsticking? Need to get a needle and seat for the carb also. Thanks

We have always run hy tran, just because thats whats in all our other tractors, as far as the spindle goes i have worst case scenario for you. We had to use a die grinder and cut the top third of the pipe half way around, jacked and pressed and finally got the spindle out. Cleaned and lubed everything, welded the piece we cut out back onto the pipe and put in bushings and the spindle. Been running G1000's since i was 8 and thats the first time we had one sieze up before. The one that froze up was one we seldom use and was sitting outside, so now on we jack up the fronts and steer and grease.

Lots of guys are running Hytrans in the 3 point so they can share their equipment with other make tractors and they don't report any problems with the system.
