Flyer for Waldron Dozer Blades on eBay in reply to Howard H., 01-25-2008 08:14:32
Hey Howard, I was browsing ads tonight and came across the eBay auction for a Waldron blade. The website address is below. If you are like me, I would want to get ahold of this as there might be some pretty valuable information in there. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for your time.

Item number: 130193860506

I love that tractor. I would put it to work here - I bet it will be quite handy. Can a 602 manage that kind of work? I have been looking at the real heavy 3 point blades to cut/level my fields with, and I only keep the 602, so I guess we will find out anyhow some time here....

I wonder if the auctioineer could have connedted the 336 cu. in. engine in the M602 with the blade to come up with a 336 blade?

Hey Bryce -

Yep - I'll bet you are right - that engine tag is shining bright - right above the mounting bracket on the blade...

Roger - thanks for the tip on Waldron, OK - I'm through Enid quite a bit and may try to stop in and see if I can find out more about the blade!

Kinda looks like some of the early silage blades I saw as a kid in SW Iowa. Sure do like that tractor/blade setup! I'm partial to that era LP tractor anyway.

Yes - I'm taking the mower home to the rest of the collection...

Here is the best pic I have right now of the blade. The auctioneer called it a "336" blade. I'd never seen this style or heard that model # - but on the way home, I saw another tractor a few miles away that had the same blade, so I guess they were popular up in Western KS, Eastern CO.

It looks like more blade than the tractor needs (after doing quite a bit of dirt work with a blade on front of an 895 Versatile, I found out you don't need much of a blade to really create a load in a hurry!).

The blade is a Waldron. It was made by Waldon Mfg. in Waldron Oklahoma. They are very popular around here. They made a LOT of 2 drill hitches in the 60's, they were simple and very well built. Not sure if they are still in business or not.

Howard,
That's a really nice find there. It makes a really neat setup. Congrats on finding such a unique piece. I've seen literature for that shredder but never seen a real one.

Hope that's on your trailer! Never have seen one like it either. Hopefully it didn't get sold and put behind some 8N. Love to find one like that here in Central IL.

Nope - it will stay behind a Minnie!

One of these days, when I get a paint booth set up, it will really look spiffy behind an equally spiffy looking 602 LP! :)
