Does anybody know what the Stuttgart spec. and the Oliver 4WD sold for at the auction in Stuttgart, Ak.? Also did the Stuttgart Spec. have a 3-point hitch? Also I would like to see some more pictures of it and the FWD Oliver. Thankyou for your help. Armand

Well I got the answer to my question on how much the owner is looking to get for it. The Stuttgart has popped up in the "Photo Ads" section with a price tag of $22 500.

One more question for Cody(for now): What rearends did they use in the stuttgart's and what years where they made? I have not had a chance to study the pictures. One reason for my interest is I have a FWD made by blacksmith in Gilman, Il. powered by a 4-71 Detroit diesel with Farmall F30 rearends and artictulated steering in 1959. Also have a Big-4 made in Elwood, Il. front wheel drive steering axels and 4 wheel steering powered by a 220 cummins made about1960. Armand

They used either U or G rears. Just whatever was available. The price for a Stuttgart was $10k, but it was cheaper if the farmer provided some of the parts such as the rearends or power unit. This particular tractor had U rearends and a 605 engine.

Hmm I wonder how much the owner of the Stuttgart wanted to get for it? $17 500 maybe isn't as much as you could get for it, but it certainly seems like a reasonable amount.

The Stuttgart was bid to 17,500.00 and did not sale. It did not have a 3-point. The 2655 oliver brought over 10,800.00. It had 3-point and pto. This tractor sold.
