Hi all.

If this looks familiar, sorry for the duplication, I tried this on another board with no responses so I will try here.

I would like to start a new MM project tractor in the near future. I am looking at a UB LPG and a GVI LPG that are for sale in the midwest.

What can you tell me about these two tractors that would help me decide which to go with?

Thanks in advance.

Opps, my mistake, it is a GB on Propane, not a UB.

The GB is not too much different than GVI in terms of "crudeness" and "clumsiness" (it is smaller and older than a GVI). By that I mean, neither are a UB or similar-type of row crop "dainty" tractor!

Both were heavy old "wheatland-area-style" tractors for wide open spaces with lots of turning room.

It really depends on why you want one... Neither would be a good "garden tractor" in tight spots. Both would be fairly heavy to drag around to shows.

But if you are like me and just like they way they look and like to play with them, they are as good as any collector tractors! I've got several GB's and a couple of GVI's...

The UB would be more versatile being more of a row crop.smaller to haul, foot clutch . The G6 is a wheatland bigger and heavier.I have 2 UBs and a G6 I like them both.
